SMILEfest returns in 2018, celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
Every year of this student-led music festival is packed full of exciting events across the city, encompassing a diverse range of genres and organised by Solent students and staff.
At SMILEfest, musicians, producers, promoters, managers, journalists, film makers – and any of the multitude of careers linked to the broader music industries - come together to provide a comprehensive overview of some of most interesting careers in one of the most exciting businesses – and tell a few stories along the way!
Just since 2009, SMILEfest has delivered over 140 guest lectures, masterclasses and workshops, as well as over 100 gigs and club nights by over 230 student performers and DJs from all over the world in over 25 venues.
Come along to celebrate this milestone with us, and become a part of it all.
