Eastleigh Film Festival (EFF), curated by The Point, returns for a fifth year this autumn.
The popular event has garnered a reputation for putting the fun back into going to the movies by screening cult, classic and iconic movies in unique locations to match. Featuring indoor and outdoor cinema with a twist, the festival is now in its fifth year following a successful week in 2016 which saw hundreds of people flock to Eastleigh for film fun.
Curators at The Point will screen 15 films across six days and 11 venues, visiting new businesses for bespoke mini screenings of hand-picked films; venturing into popular outdoor locations; and bringing much-loved movies back to the big-screen.
This year’s festival is headlined by cult vampire horror The Lost Boys, witty comedy-horror The Cabin in the Woods and Baz Lurhmann’s stylish take on Shakespeare Romeo + Juliet.
