Opened in February 2007 the Heartbeat Education Centre is a purpose built, stateof- the-art Conference and Events venue based in Southampton. With a choice of seven fully air-conditioned meeting rooms including a tiered Lecture Theatre with a seating capacity of up to 120 people and a large Conference Room ideal for hospitality events and exhibitions, the
HEC offers complete flexibility, whatever the event. Additionally there is wireless connection in the reception and break-out area. Our rooms are equipped with PC/ Laptop Provision, DVD/VCR Playback, Data Projectors and Screens which is all included in room hire charges. We offer a ‘hassle free’ conferencing service where our friendly and helpful staff will make sure your event is a success. They can take care of layout, furniture, all your catering requirements and advice on local transport. Available hourly, daily
or long term, all our meeting areas are designed for comfort, practicality and flexibility. They can be arranged in several different styles and our experienced, friendly staff will take the time to discuss your specific needs for the room, so that you can be confident it will meet your particular requirements. Junction 14 continue onto Chilworth Roundabout and take second exit on to Bassett Avenue. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Winchester Road (A35 The West). At the traffic lights turn right onto Dale Road (signposted Southampton General Hospital). At the mini roundabout turn right and follow signs for the main car park.
From M27
Junction 5 (Airport) head to Southampton (A335) along Stoneham Way. At the traffic light, continue straight ahead on Stoneham Way A35 (Swaythling). At the next traffic lights continue straight ahead onto High Road (A35) and bear right at the next traffic lights onto Burgess Road (A35, General Hospital). Pass the University and proceed straight on at the traffic lights across The Avenue. Pass the Common on the left and turn right at the mini roundabout onto Hill Lane. Turn left almost immediately at the next roundabout onto Winchester Road (A35). At the traffic lights turn right onto Dale Road (signposted Southampton General Hospital). At the mini roundabout turn right and follow signs for the main car park.
