The Montagu Arms, located in the picturesque
village of Beaulieu nestles quietly in the depths
of the New Forest. A retreat of great character
the hotel can trace its origins back to the
17th Century, this 3 red star property offers
atmospheric period features from panelled
walls to beamed ceilings and the luxurious
traditionally decorated and individually
designed bedrooms which add a unique
character to the hotel.
The hotel prides itself on high levels of
customer care and attention where
personal service and old fashioned values are
our priority
Overlooking the beautiful country garden, the
fine dining Terrace Restaurant serves a menu
specially created by Michelin-starred Chef
Shaun Hill offering traditional dishes with a
contemporary twist. The strong ethical food
policy means that ingredients sourced are freerange,
local and organic as far as possible. The
Terrace is well known for its extensive wine
list including organic, un-oaked and prestigious
wines and
Champagnes. We
also have Monty’s
brasserie and bar
for a less formal
dining atmosphere.
For leisure it would
be hard to find a
more convenient base for exploring the local
area. Close to the glorious Exbury Gardens,
Beaulieu Palace House and Motor Museum
and Lymington’s quaint cobbled streets with
its Saturday market and ferries to the Isle of
Wight.
And if you are someone who enjoys a little
pampering you can make use of SenSpa, our
award winning Thai spa. Located at our sister
hotel Careys Manor, just six miles across the
beautiful New Forest, SenSpa offers state of
the art spa facilities and 16 treatment rooms
where guests of the Montagu Arms can enjoy
use of the facilities at preferential rates.
Located in the New Forest Area
