Shirley and the girls will assist on the day, will assist with the advance planning and additional services required such as booking coaches, restaurants, etc…. in all an excellent service.

Within days of initially contacting Hannah I had a list of appropriate venues, packages they offer, (even down to DJ, PA system!!) Hannah then arranged visits to the venues, and negotiated contracts, and found the perfect venue for us! Nothing is too difficult, Hannah is always quick to respond to emails, contacting venues on your behalf, taking away the stress and time I would have spent had I done this on my own. What’s even better is that the venue finding service is free of charge, and they also advertise the event for free on their website.
I will be recommending Destination Southampton to all my friends, family, anyone looking to plan an event, if it wasn’t for Hannah I would still be trying to secure a venue. We were looking for a fun an unique team building event in Winchester and were struggling to find something; Hampshire Conference Bureau (Managed by Destination Southampton) found us lots of choices, all within budget really quickly! Everything was just so professional, slick and glitzy…..true Hollywood style. From the food, raffle, auction and the fabulous live band I just could not fault with anything during the whole evening and early morning!
All the long hours and hard work that was most clearly put into this event will be so worth it by the many thousands of pounds raised to benefit the children, young people and their families who use Rose Road.

I wanted personally to say thank you and well done to all the team for a very successful weekend in Southampton during which the weather was very kind to us all. I would like to take the opportunity to thank both the Royal Leonardo Hotel and Destination Southampton for all their assistance given to ensure our recent, British Titanic Society Convention was a great success. We welcomed delegates from around the world to what was a fantastic weekend for all. Under new ownership, the set up of our sales, exhibition and lecture spaces went very smoothly and Gala Dinner night was superb. The staff were courteous and the food throughout excellent! Top marks! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Royal Leonardo Hotel for any event and I’m sure we will happily return in the future.
